Last month, TREAT-NMD participated in the World Muscle Society Conference, a fantastic event focusing on neuromuscular disorders. The conference provided a platform for practical discussions with industry partners around creating opportunities for collaborations crucial for therapeutic development and improving care for those living with neuromuscular disease. Talks during the conference covered diverse topics, from recent research developments to new treatment approaches, offering insights and inspiration for those working in the field.
Several of the TREAT-NMD team are looking forward to the World Orphan Drug Congress in Barcelona, a key event for orphan drug development. David Allison, our Chief Executive Officer; Neil Bennett, TREAT-NMD’s Global Registry Network Manager; Kim Down, our Partnership and Collaborations Manager and Clare Bradley, Head of Education and Events. At this congress, we will be showcasing a poster on the TREAT-NMD Advisory Committee for Therapeutics, emphasising its role in guiding the development of treatments for neuromuscular disorders.
